Nablus, in the northern West Bank, has historically served as Palestine's commercial capital. It houses the Palestinian stock exchange and its market in Nablus' old town is among the most beautiful. Nablus is renowned for its local handicrafts, soap, and delicious food, including Nabulsi cheese and knafeh. Palestine’s only remaining keffiyeh factory is located in Nablus.
