Jenin has long been the West Bank's bread basket. It is home to Canaan Fair Trade, Palestine’s largest fair-trade farm collective which supports 1,700 families who produce and export olive oil, almonds, herbs and other agricultural products. Jenin’s olive trees date back to Biblical times and its farmers, who have preserved ancient permaculture practices, are Palestine's living history.
